§ 1 Recognition of the General Terms and Conditions
The following General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all services and offers provided by City Appartements Mainz.

 

§ 2 Arrival and departure
The arrival and departure days count together as one day. The tenant can move into the accommodation at 3 p.m. at the earliest on the day of arrival.

The tenant's claims for damages are expressly stated. excluded if the accommodation is not available at 3 p.m. The reservation of the accommodation will be held until 3:00 p.m. on the day following the start of the rental period. Arrival (check-in) is possible between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Arrival after midnight is not possible.
After that, the obligation to make a reservation no longer applies. On the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed in writing, the accommodation must be made available to the landlord by 10.30 a.m. at the latest and the key must be returned to the landlord. 

 

§ 3 Equipment of the rental apartments
The apartments are rented with inventory. Furnishings may not be removed from the apartments. The tenant must compensate for any damage or inventory shortages that occur during the rental period.

The rental price depends on the currently valid price list. If the tenant uses the holiday apartment in violation of the contract (e.g. subletting, overcrowding, disturbing the peace) or if the rent is not paid, the landlord is entitled to terminate the contract without notice.

§ 4 Liability of the landlord
The landlord is not liable to the tenant for loss or damage to items brought in.

 

§ 5 Cancellation of the reservation
If the tenant cancels the reservation up to one month before the start of the rental period, an amount of 50.00 euros will be charged as a processing fee. The tenant cancels or terminates the rental agreement
at a later date, the following staggering applies:
• In the event of cancellation or termination up to 20 days before the start of the rental period, 30% of the rental price is due for payment.
• In the event of cancellation or termination up to 10 days before the start of the rental period, 50% of the rental price is due for payment.
• If the cancellation or termination of the rental agreement occurs within a period of less than 10 days before the start of the rental period, the tenant is obliged to
80% of the rent to be paid.
• If the rental agreement is canceled or terminated on the day of arrival, the tenant is obliged to pay 100% of the rent (rental price).

In the event of early termination of the rental agreement or in the event of non-arrival, the tenant is not entitled to compensation for unused rental days.

 

§ 6 Termination of the rental agreement
To be effective, termination of the rental agreement must be made in writing.

 

§7 Place of jurisdiction
In accordance with legal regulations, the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from the rental agreement is the Mainz District Court.
